Are you aware that there are over 300 databases and websites available through the Library's Database Finder at http://library.uncfsu.eud/edatabases.html.
Databases contain different kinds of information: Articles from scholarly journals, magazines and newspapers; Statistical data from places like the Census Bureau, other federal and state government entities and opinion polls; Biographical information on authors, scientists, business people, nurses, educators and other persons of note; and Encyclopedic information, opinion essays and legislative and legal information.

ERIC Coverage is from 1966 - present of journal articles and documents such as reports, handbooks, and monographs in education. ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and resources. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. ERIC provides full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

Facts on File: World News Digest Contains information from seven core reference databases covering events, issues, statistics, and people through several decades.
Health Source: Consumer Edition Provides consumer oriented information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine, and general health.
Historical Statistics of the United States The Millenium Online Edition of the Historical Statistics of the United States now contains "37,000 data series -- three times more than in the previous edition -- and dozens of new topics, among them slavery, American Indians, and poverty."
