New Online Catalog Interface

Many of you have probably already noticed that the Library's Online Catalog has had a makeover. The Millennium WebOPAC interface was upgraded to WebPAC Pro on Monday, January 8, 2007. This upgrade affected the libraries of the UNC Coastal Library Consortium - UNC Wilmington, UNC Pembroke and Fayetteville State University.

According to UNCW's Randall Library, "the most noticable changes include new colors and headers, tabbed displays, relevancy ranking of keyword search results, a new navigation button set, a new brief display layout, a new bibliographic display layout, the ability to limit search results to only available items, the "Additional Info" and "More resources boxes". These last two items are a work in progress, so you won't see much there right now."

We hope you all enjoy the new look and find the catalog easy to navigate. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments - please let us know!
