North Carolina Archives Week is October 4th – 10th 2010
This week was established to recognize the importance of archival and historical documentation in our society. During archives week institutions throughout the state conduct open houses, exhibit their holdings, conduct lectures and workshops, and hold other events to enhance public awareness and understanding of the role that this documentation plays in our lives.
The Archives and Special Collections Depatment, http://library.uncfsu.edu/Archives/ArchivesSpecialCollectionsDept.htm at Chesnutt Library, Fayetteville State University, invites everyone to visit the department to learn about our archival and historical holdings.
